Almost There works with change management, regional development, education and sustainable business development. We turn ideas into projects, partnerships and places, often where different sectors, perspectives and people meet.
Our work takes many forms. We rethink regional development, design educational programmes, lead collaborative projects and accelerate ideas with the potential to create meaningful change. We also develop businesses within food, hospitality and meeting places.
We believe lasting change happens when knowledge is shared, unexpected connections are made and ideas are tested in the real world.
Today, Almost There runs the meeting place Peetgården, the catering business Foodmaker, the restaurant and conference venue Säsong at Boden Business Park, and the higher vocational school: Almost There Educations.
Almost There is our shared hub where different businesses, projects and collaborations are developed and brought to life.

More than twenty-five years of making change happen
Almost There was founded in 1998 by Tom Løyche and Per Myrén. Originally named Changemaker, it began as a consultancy created to challenge established thinking and help organisations navigate change.
More than twenty-five years and hundreds of scribbled notebooks later...
...we have founded and sold Changemaker Educations and Futuregames, led European collaborations, worked with regional development in northern Sweden and beyond, supported impact startups and transformed a 17th-century farm in Boden into a place for new ideas and encounters – while brewing a few beers and catching more than a few mosquitoes along the way.
Starting over. Again. And again.
Today, we draw on experience to build what comes next.
We are consultants in change management and regional development. Project leaders and partners in collaborative European and international projects. Educators creating industry-connected programmes for a changing labour market. And business developers supporting people and ideas with the ambition to make a difference, whether that ambition is local, regional or global.
We bring together knowledge and experience from hundreds of projects and thousands of encounters with different people, places, ideas and perspectives.
