Säsong Norr

Säsong is a new concept for restaurant, conference, and hotel that will open at Boden Business Park on August 1. The initiative is led by the company Almost There AB, which already operates the meeting place Peetgården and the catering business Foodmaker, based in Boden. Säsong will be characterized by a clear sustainability mindset regarding food and meetings, with an emphasis on choosing ingredients and influences according to the season.

”For us, it is important to create meeting places with a clear sustainability mindset that makes people think. We can learn a lot by following the seasons, both in terms of what we serve on the plates and what inspires us in meetings with others. We are proud of the opportunity to operate within Boden Business Park’s premises to deliver good service and great food prepared with care,” says Lina Ekström, development manager at Almost There.

The conference rooms will be named and inspired by the five seasons that can be experienced in northern Sweden: winter, ’spring-winter’ (vårsommar), spring, summer, and autumn. The food in the restaurants will follow the seasons and consist of locally produced ingredients as far as possible.
